Get set! April is coming and soon They're Off!! as the fall season of thoroughbred racing begins. Fun & excitement are here! Keeneland Race Track is thought my many to be the most beautiful in the World.
Want an amazing early morning experience? Get up real early one morning--we are just 7 minutes up the road from the track--and go watch the horses exercise. You can get really close and often the trainers and jockeys will have conversations with you. Many mornings there is an incredibly beautiful mist over the track that is gorgeous as it burns off with the sunrise--stunning silken coated thoroughbreds running right by you--you can feel their exhilleration! You'll still have time to come back to the Inn for our hearty breakfast, or grab a country breakfast in the Track Kitchen and rub elbows with the trainers and jockeys--they are really welcoming and friendly. Thoroughbred racing is the pasttime of Kings yes, but you too, can be King for a day at our world reknown racetrack.
