Wow! What a great time we're having with the World Equestrian Games! There are four days remaining and Keeneland Thoroughbred Racing will begin on it's heels. It's a glorious fall here in Kentucky. The Breeders Cup will finish off the exciting equestrian season November 4-5 weekend, and then we begin our holiday decorating to have it up in time for the Thanksgiving Holiday.During the World Equestrian Games:
We
offer an inclusive semi-meal plan including complimentary snacks and
beverages, full breakfast for two each morning, and complimentary wine
and cheese reception each afternoon with fresh fruits, German chocolates
and a variety of hearty snacks and nibbles. Our guests have been
raving about the complimentary soup, salad and hot bread supper each
evening for those nights when you prefer not to brave the crowded
restaurants. We have done a lovely Crab Chowder, Texas chili, Chicken
and Dumplings, Vegetarian Spinach, Tomato, Zucchini and brown rice,
Curried Carrot and White Bean, Authentic Beef Borscht--the favorite so
far!, Corn-ham-potato chowder, French Onion, and I'm having fun
creating a variety of salads as well--it's a "light supper" that's a
full meal and all you can eat and it has been so popular we may bring it
back for some of our other events! Having the guests wander back from
an exhillerating albeit exhausting day at the Games to compare their
stories from the day's events over wine and great food has been
immensely enjoyable. There's still time to catch the remaining days of
the WEG so come on out. We're lifting the multi-night restriction. So come on out and stay with us for the best of the best--you'll be glad you did.
