Many of our guests are aware that my son, Ross, who runs the Inn with me had a large tumor impacting his spinal cord and threatening the use of his legs. I am thrilled to share that the surgery has been completed and the entire tumor was removed. Ross has movement and feeling in both legs and we were able to stand him up briefly yesterday. He'll need rehab but we are thanking our Jesus. The damage we sought to prevent to the spinal cord by removing the tumor had already been done, the spinal nerve was strangled and dead however Ross had no loss of use to the legs they serve. We are grateful for all of the prayers and kind thoughts. We are open for business, I personally will be away with Ross at the hospital much of the time but still coming in at night late and doing the morning breakfasts so do feel free to book your stays, just thrilled to share our good news. Please book on our website if possible, the cell phone connections are bad at the hospital. Alternatively, email me and I will check them when I get in at night. Sorry for the inconvenience and we look forward to having you! |
